Pricey and pretentious it lacks meat variety and autenticity. As a Brazilian person would say " something just for the gringos to see".

Salad and soup included in the 195dhs and then the green side of the card to get the ball rolling and red to stop. The table had a nice bread selection and some butter to go along with it, as well as onion rings, huge chunky chips and fried banana.

The salad bad was excellent, with a huge variety and had my vegetarian father come with us, it would have kept him quite happy. R3estaurants such as La mamma charge 60-dhs for only one visit to a much smaller salad bar, so the price Chamas are offering is quite attractive.

Once we finished the salad, we turned the card to green and within a minute the waiters were pouncing on you with the 14 different meats they have, including tandoori turkey, chicken wings, lamb, beef steaks, sausages and kebabs. Most of the beef was medium-rear, however when they noticed we liked it medium-well, we would start getting offered meat which was much less redder. The waiters would change your plate as many times as you request.

The meat was amazing and the service incredible. Oh, and I forgot to mention, y7ou do get 3 plates of vegetables on the table to add a bit of carbs. Vegetable fried rice, refried beans and some spinach.

At the end of all this, we were happy enough to leave without dessert but I insisted and so my wife went for the chocolate ice-cream which she enjoyed, and I went for friend banana on a dough with vanilla ice cream which was lovely. All desserts are prices at 32dhs.

We stuck with water for most of the meal getting through 3 bottles, and started with a cocktail of fresh strawberries, limes, and soda water with a lot of ice. I think this was the only highly priced item at 35dhs a glass.

The live entertainment did not stop while we were there and the atmosphere was lovely. Definitely a place I would go to again. My only advice would be not to go overboard because I couldn’t stop myself trying everything and it is 6 hours later and my stomach still feels quite heavy.

You really should go there on an empty stomach because believe me, you will feel stuffed from the second or third round of meat they keep serving.

I wasnt too fond of the duck though, tasted funny, but the rest from the lamb to the beef was excellent.

The salad bar is truly yummy. Everything you can think of is there. The service was also very good. The Intercon, has been renovated recently and this is one of their best food outlets together with the new "Yacht Club"

One negative side to the restaurant is the loudness of the music. They have a singer and a band, and OMG, did I end up with a huge headache. I would pray for their break to come, so I can have some decent conversation with my husband and brother and Co. Apart from that, all was great...
